Salient's Portfolio Agent Management System (PAMS) is designed to enable management of assets (and their supporting data flows) for asset owners or their agents. This version of PAMS is designed to cater for the data flows and business processes defined for Non Half Hourly Data Collectors (NHHDCs). These are defined within the industry requirements laid down in BSCP504 by Elexon.

However, the same principles apply to all asset portfolios and this is discussed further in our Product Design Approach

Salient have delivered, within PAMS, all of the required portfolio management business processes that must be supported by NHHDC (Non Half Hourly Data Collector) agents providing services to Electricity supply companies. Additionally, PAMS also accommodates the range of business process support functionality required to achieve 'unbundled' Gas portfolio management services to Gas supply companies.

The Business/Service/Contract Model driven approach adopted within the PAMS design will allow clients to achieve integrated portfolio management services via PAMS. For example, NHHDC, NHHMO and HHMO portfolio management services may be integrated within the same PAMS architecture framework. Similarly, extended, refined and hybrid configurations of services (e.g. Data Retrieval only services, integrated Electricity/Gas portfolio matched data collection schedules and services etc.) can be quickly accommodated within the PAMS framework.

PAMS is completely integrated with Salient's Generic Reporting (GR) product, providing superior data reporting and graphical presentation facilities to ease decision making, and the CREDO product, providing extended meter reading integrity checks and suggesting corrective actions.

PAMS-DC is now in operation in two NHHDCs with national portfolios. In both cases, Salient's consultants provided key assistance for the agent to gain Qualification with Elexon (the Electricity Industry Regulator)
